In Nigeria's construction environment, procurement failure is one of the leading causes of project delay and cost overrun. Late material delivery, substandard substitutions, and unreliable vendors have derailed many otherwise well-managed programmes. Rafayyl Engineering built its Procurement Services division specifically to eliminate this risk.
Established as a standalone capability within the firm, our procurement team operates a formal supplier management system that covers vendor registration, technical pre-qualification, commercial evaluation, and ongoing performance scoring. We currently maintain approved vendor lists with over 200 local and international suppliers across structural steel, reinforcement, pipes, valves, fittings, cement, aggregates, and specialist mechanical and electrical equipment.
Our procurement professionals are trained in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) best practices and use enterprise procurement systems to manage requisitions, purchase orders, expediting, inspection, and logistics tracking. We have managed single-project procurement budgets exceeding billion.
